  Bought a wonderful house which still had the old Victorian style single pane sash windows. Windows looked nice but the house was freezing cold in the winter, windows used to rattle as if there was a hurricane outside and don’t even get me started about the morning condensation. Everything has its day so if you find yourself in a similar situation and don’t really want to go down the PVC replacement option, consider modern double glazed wooden sash windows. Would recommend Abbey Sash Windows without hesitation as they delivered a quality product and a quality service at a fair price. Glen, Chris and Lee did an amazing job and I now have beautiful sash windows that’ll last at least another hundred years. Indi.
